Unrealized potential and untapped resources will result in poverty and the failure of This research investigates the geographical inequalities in tourist growth between urban and rural areas of Maharashtra, India. Using a comparative research technique, we examine the varied levels of tourist development, economic effect, and infrastructure developments in these disparate locales. The research used a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from official tourism statistics and economic indicators with qualitative insights gleaned from stakeholder interviews and community surveys. Our findings show considerable inequalities in tourism growth, with metropolitan regions having faster development and greater economic advantages than their rural counterparts. This disparity is due to reasons such as improved infrastructure, more investment, and more diverse tourism options in metropolitan areas. In contrast, rural regions, although having significant tourist potential owing to their natural and cultural features, lag behind due to poor infrastructure, limited promotional efforts, and socioeconomic issues. The report emphasises the need for specific policy interventions to support balanced regional tourist development, ensure fair distribution of tourism benefits, and nurture long-term growth. To bridge the development gap, recommendations include improved infrastructure, more investment, and promotion of agrotourism in rural regions. This article adds to the discussion on regional tourist imbalances and provides a framework for policymakers to address the difficulties and possibilities of attaining balanced tourism growth in Maharashtra. .

The growth and refinement of hotel industry is greatly influenced by themed hotels and restaurants. These facilities go beyond merely offering lodging and dining; they create immersive surroundings tailored to certain interests, presenting tourists with amazing and one-of-a-kind experiences. One of the primary goals of theme-based institutions is to move individuals away from the everyday by immersing them in other worlds that engage their senses and encourage their creativity. Whether it's a hotel with a mediaeval castle theme or a restaurant with a tropical paradise theme, these establishments provide more than just a place to stay or dine - they offer an experience..

Over the centuries, universities have continued to adapt and evolve, reflecting changes in society's needs and values. One of the primary roles of universities in society is to provide education and conduct research. These two functions are inextricably linked, as research often informs teaching, and teaching facilitates research. Universities offer a wide range of academic programs, from undergraduate degrees to doctoral studies, covering fields such as science, humanities, social sciences, and professional disciplines. Present study is an effort to understand the role of universities in providing employable workforce. The study is concentrated in the geographical area of Chhattisgarh..

Changing Dynamics And Evolution Of Indian Banking Sector: A Study Of The Perception About The Service Quality Of State Bank Of India

Prof S. D. Sharma, Ravi Bansal

CrossRef DOI URL :

Macroeconomics exerts a profound influence on the service quality of banks, shaping the overall economic landscape within which financial institutions operate. Fluctuations in key macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, interest rates, and GDP growth directly impact the banking sector. For instance, during periods of high inflation, banks may face increased operational costs, potentially leading to a decline in service quality as they grapple with rising expenses. Similarly, changes in interest rates influence the cost of borrowing and lending, affecting banks' profitability and, consequently, their ability to invest in technological advancements and staff training that enhance service quality. Present study has measured the effect of the GDP, Inflation, Bank rates and exchange rates on the service quality. .

Globally corona virus has produced an unstable environment for people. This has spread all over the world and called as a pandemic by World Health organization. This is stopped many of economic activities due to contagious disease and has no cured till date to fight with corona. It has produced economic impact on globe and India. It may produce recession in many parts of the world. The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented shock to the Indian economy. The economy was already in a parlous state before Covid-19 struck. With the prolonged country-wide lockdown, global economic downturn and associated disruption of demand and supply chains, the economy is likely to face a protracted period of slowdown. The magnitude of the economic impact will depend upon the duration and severity of the health crisis, the duration of the lockdown and the manner in which the situation unfolds once the lockdown is lifted. In this paper we describe the impact of the Indian economy..
